pleased to meet you,

I'M SARA ELDRED

Photography has always felt second nature to me. I can’t remember a time when I wasn’t documenting the world around me. Long before weddings, before owning a business, and before I fully understood what photography would become in my life.

What started with disposable cameras and childhood hikes spent photographing flowers, light, and whatever caught my attention eventually grew into a career rooted in connection, storytelling, and the art of noticing.

I officially launched my business in 2020, though photography has shaped the way I see the world for much longer than that. I’m endlessly drawn to people, atmosphere, and the moments that often go unnoticed. The fleeting glances, the nervous laughter, the quiet interactions that tell the story of a day just as much as the big moments do.

My approach is a balance of guidance and observation. I know when to step in and create space for beautiful portraits, and I know when to step back and let life unfold on its own. My goal has never been to manufacture moments, but to document a wedding as it genuinely felt to experience it.

More than anything, I want my photographs to feel honest. Images that are timeless, emotional, and deeply personal. The kind that allow you to return to a feeling years later, not just remember what everything looked like.

a peek into my life

My favorite mornings are slow ones. Iced coffee in bed, music playing softly in the background, a candle burning, Atlas curled up beside me while I watch the birds outside my kitchen window.

I find a lot of joy in quietness and reflection. Outside of photography, I spend most of my time thrifting, wandering antique stores, collecting plants, and surrounding myself with things that feel lived-in and meaningful. I’ve always been drawn to atmosphere, nostalgia, texture, and the beauty in everyday moments, both in life and in the way I photograph.

I love tattoos and collect flash. I’m endlessly inspired by film and visual storytelling, and I’ll always be a Razorback baseball fan at heart. Arkansas roots run deep around here.

While I need quiet time to recharge, I’ve also never met a stranger. Connection comes naturally to me, and I think that’s a large part of why I’m so drawn to documenting people and the lives they’re building together.

I’m grateful you’re here.

I can't wait to get to know you! <3
