your wedding is iconic.

my approach to weddings is really all about nuance. i’m paying attention to the room, the people in it, the emotion, and all of the little things happening while you’re busy actually living the day you've fantasized about so many times.

the atmosphere, the movement, the excitement shared between  the people who gathered just to be in the room with you on the day you're getting married. the big stuff matters, obviously, but so does everything happening around it. 

i’ll step in when you need me, give thorough direction or clean up the space when it makes the photograph better, and step right back out when the moment is already doing everything it needs to do.

i photograph weddings in little rock, across arkansas, where ever you are in the world - on 35mm film, medium format film and digitally. my work falls somewhere between documentary and editorial. sometimes that means letting a moment unfold completely untouched. sometimes it means moving you six inches toward better light. 

whether you're planning an entire wedding weekend, filling an estate with everyone you love, or getting married somewhere far from home with twenty of your favorite people, my goal remains the same. to make photographs of your wedding day that could only belong to you.
